Chicken Piccata Will Prick Your Tongue with Flavor

Photo Name There are several theories as to how this chicken piccata recipe came to be named. I subscribe to the one that claims it's an adaptation of the French word "piquer," which means "to prick." This makes absolutely no sense, until you taste it.

Apparently "prick" is a metaphor for the sharply flavored sauce. Thanks to fresh lemon, capers, and wine, this sauce is about as subtle as a kick in the shin. Regardless of why it's called chicken piccata, I hope this"piques" your interest, and you give this quick and delicious recipe a try!
